Recording @ Abbey Road
A couple of years ago I went to record a few original tracks at Abbey Road.
What a place!! (and a great canteen)
I only spent a day recording in Studio 2 (where the Beatles recorded) but the amount of iconic music that has been recorded there is rediculus. So I whilst the kit was being sound checked I took advantage of where I was:

This is a picture of me in studio 2.
Why am I smiling? Simple. I’m playing on the piano that LADY MADONNA was recorded on.
After the guide vocals, rhythm and guitar were laid down then we put down the horns – this didn’t take long and before I knew it my part was over…
But it may be a while before I’m back at Abbey Road again so I thought, what the hey?! So my pal Rick and I had a wander into Studio 1 where the music from Star Wars and Indian Jones were recorded.

Rick and I having a high note competition in Studio 1. (I won with a double A, Rick Came a close second with a double G)
Even though I have still yet to hear the final product as the guy who took us there has yet to finished tweeking the mix!!!
(Now nearly 3 Years on!!)
It was still an awsome day.
