I’ve been trying to write out some ideas for posts today. Now I’m on my 262 post you’d think it was easy. My problem is I often have moments of inspiration and if they’re not immediately written down they evaporate. So I’ve taken to having a few note pads stashed around the place. My car, my room, my jacket pocket, the kitchen. There’s only so much that you can write on your hand and when your image contributes to your next gig I don’t really want to be known as; you know, the trumpet player with pen all over the back of his hands.<\/p>\n
It’s apparent however that sitting with a notebook in your hand and waiting for any kind of inspiration is a nowhere road.<\/p>\n
So I ended up running errands, practicing and getting put off jobs out the way and wouldn’t you guess it. Inspiration came thick and fast. Typical right?<\/p>\n
As for other news I’ve been booked for a wedding next Saturday so my gigging weekends continue unbroken for another week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
