The Genius Of Adam Sandler

I’ve been playing a lot of wedding gigs recently and it can be a really great feeling knowing that not only are you part of a moment that so many people will never forget, but that you are making that moment happen. The first dance of the newly weds, unmarried couples holding each other extra close knowing that their time will come soon and old married couples reliving their own special day.

It’s an honor to be a part of… but at the same time you do think; “why the hell are all these people so happy?!”

It’s not a serious thought, but I’d be lying to say that there isn’t a small part of me that feels jealous at never being at a wedding without working – and I do think how funny it would be to have break down like in The Wedding Singer.

If you are unfamiliar with this awesome film, basically, Adam Sandler’s character tries to play a gig after his fiance stands him up on his own wedding. He’s clearly in the middle of a break down and ends up berating the newly weds and the entire wedding party. I think it would a lot of fun to do. 😀
