Matt Roberts Official London Resident

15 gigs, a broken down car, 25 hours of driving and a very tired musician later and I’m finally in London. I’ve spent today unpacking and strolling round my new city (and drafting a letter to the other flats in my block warning them of my social practicing hours). 😛

I’ve covered a fair few miles of walking today and have a feeling that it’ll be keeping me fit. As for tomorrow I’m going to see Jonny and work on our Duo project. I’ll be seeing Rob Turner (from the Quarter Tones) in the evening. He’ll be having the first screening of the near completed documentary. I’m sure he’ll love it. At least until I give it him on DVD and tell hime to make notes on it for me.

I’m sure that I’ll end up loving or hating London. I don’t think you can be ambivalent towards the city. Lets hope for a good time though!
